I know I haven't posted in a really long time. My last post didn't work for some reason and so I wasn't feeling too up to having that happen again. So here are some pictures of our new apartment from when we first moved. I will have to take some more pictures when everything is all nice and clean.
Because John was sick the week we moved, I did most of the moving while he set up the television. These pictures (above and below) were taken from the front door.

I think that we would still be sitting on the floor if it weren't for Laura's couch, so thanks for letting us take if off of your hands!
It was such a mess. The hardest part was deciding where everything would belong.
This is the little nook which is situated across from the kitchen. This is where we have set up our computer desk-which we bought off of craigslist.
Across from the nook is the kitchen. It is pretty small, but compared to our last apartments kitchen it is great. There is plenty of cabinet space (even though they are pretty crappy), so I still have room for more if ever I need it. All of the appliances are new, including a dishwasher! - No more hand washing for me!
This is the "hallway"-I guess you could call it that. To the left is the kitchen, to the right is the nook. Straight ahead is the bedroom with the bathroom through the door on the right.
The bathroom is the worst! But at least we have one! It has a silly sliding shower door which I hate because it is so hard to clean, and the floor is sticky no matter what I clean it with. AND there is no room for anything (anybody know where to get a cheap over the toilet shelf thing-y?). 
The bedroom is my favorite part of the apartment. It is the perfect size, plus it has a walk-in closet, and a regular closet. We do have our bed all put together now, but the mattress topper is where our bed is now.
So this is it. We love it here! The complex is really nice and we finally feel like we are settled in. There are still a few things that we need that we try to pick up here and there but things are coming right along. We are so grateful for the help that we have had to get to this point, and the help that we continue to receive. We love you all!

Good for you, Danielle!! So nice to hear from you. The pictures are great! I'm looking forward to seeing your new place. I am hoping this is the last full day for the hospital, but I could be here until Friday. Oh, well. At least we got it taken care of. Thanks for posting.
About time! I was thinking yesterday that I haven't seen you guys in forever and I was blaming your new apartment. Then I realized that I should have just gone over to visit you. I'm glad that you like the couch, and I think I have some cleaner that might get the sticky off your bathroom floor.
As for over-the toilet storage, I have some shelves, but I don't think they would maximize your space. Try Craigs list. I bought some at Wal Mart, but it was about $60.00
I'm glad you guys are liking your space. We'll have to come check it out at some point.
